This long-term project (former KOL06 ) addresses research on the ecology of Arctic seaweeds and their interaction with associated organisms/habitats in the context of environmental change. The main goal of this sub-project is to establish the dynamics of nutrient utilization by the main marine primary producers of Kongsfjorden during the spring months (March to May) in an already warmed Arctic fjord. The project takes place under the umbrella of the Spanish Funded Project DYNARCTIC.
